I knew the muse of poetry had blessed me
when with verses and rhymes, I played plenty
But only when my eyes cruised upon your syllables
the contours of my heart started bending deep

Neither of us could tell the time and place
A love affair in the making, our hearts apace
The air everywhere smelled of poetry pure
It was then we became true poets for sure

The universe went berserk with synergy
Our pores absorbing and emiting energy
Our souls mingling and melding as one
Unravelling of a wondrous collision!
