On bended knee

under an aged tree

a lighthouse at a distance

I see us breaking every fence

you ask me for my hand

i dont care about a sparkling band

You pledge your love to me

forever yours I promise to be

my eyes well up

as I see you gulp

our moment has arrived

our daydreams on which we thrived

even as we now imagine

one fence at a time collapsing

we continue to daydream thus

the aged tree patiently waits for us
